Erectile dysfunction: How to prevent it

Men in the risk group should take certain measures to prevent erectile dysfunction and to start having a healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips to prevent erectile dysfunction:

  • Give up smoking
  • Regular physical activity
  • Normal body weight
  • Choosing or replacing medications you are taking that can cause erectile dysfunction (never stop taking medications without consulting your doctor)
  • Following your doctor instructions
  • Moderate alcohol drinking (not more than two units of alcohol)
  • Giving up on illegal drugs
  • In case with such chronic diseases as diabetes or kidney disease, follow your doctor instructions to keep these diseases under control.
