Men in the risk group should take certain measures to prevent erectile dysfunction and to start having a healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips to prevent erectile dysfunction:
- Give up smoking
- Regular physical activity
- Normal body weight
- Choosing or replacing medications you are taking that can cause erectile dysfunction (never stop taking medications without consulting your doctor)
- Following your doctor instructions
- Moderate alcohol drinking (not more than two units of alcohol)
- Giving up on illegal drugs
- In case with such chronic diseases as diabetes or kidney disease, follow your doctor instructions to keep these diseases under control.
